Instructors
Tom Simm: A retired Air Force and Airline Transport Pilot who flew for Pan Am, TWA and American Airlines. During his flying career, Tom accumulated eight different type ratings in large transport category aircraft. He has logged over 16,000 flight hours in heavy planes lke the Boeing 767-300 and many different light ones such as our Cessna Skyhawk. He is continuing his flying career with GW Aviation doing two things he truly enjoys; teaching and flying. In addition to the above, he was an Air Force Navigator in the B-52 Stratofortress and C-141 Starlifter. Besides being an Airline Flight Engineer, Dispatcher and Initial Operating Experience Instructor, he was also an Air Force Instructor Navigator and Examiner.
Phil Siess: Graduated Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2007 with a Bachelors degree in Aeronautical Science and minor in Aviation Weather. While in school, he flew competitively for the Universities Flight Team. Phil has worked as a flight instructor for Embry-Riddle and has interned with a Major U.S. Airline.
Paul Houle: Flying for 45 years and flight instructing for over 20, he is also a 30 year, retired professor of physics from ESU.
